Parker turned in his papers for his mission the end of March and not quite two weeks later his mission call showed up. It was Saturday, at the end of Spring Break and we had a volleyball tournament all day. We got home ... and look what was in the mail!
Parker decided since it had already been a long day that he would like to wait and open it on Sunday night and invite friends and family over.
Travis and I thought about steaming it open, but we were somehow able to wait.

Once Aunt Tina arrived it was time to open it. He was called to serve in the Trinidad, Port of Spain mission, speaking Dutch. He would report to the MTC on August 5th.
Brother von Savoye (his YM President and home teaching companion) was very excited that he was called there. He served in the West Indies mission when he served.

His mission call signed by the prophet.
Learning a little more about the mission and what he can bring.
Lots of emotions that day, but excitement was definitely the most felt!
Congratulations Parker!
